I will say, like the Simeone deal just is what it is.
It's what you had to do to get Nimmo's five years of pay offloaded, especially with the outfielding talent you had in the system.
Polanco, and I'll, I'll I will not waiver from this one.
If he can come back healthy from surgery, Polanco can be a useful player.
Not a great player, not the everyday first baseman, every day DH.
Polanco, like we talk about, do we love paying Senga what we're paying him to maybe be a high leverage reliever?
No, but he's useful.
He's actually very useful right now.
Yeah.
Are we gonna love paying Polanco $20 million next year to be a platoon or bench bat level player?
No, but if he, if he's good at that, it's still better than just cutting a guy and giving up all the money.
So Simeone's different conversation and it's a much more difficult one to figure out.
Polanco, you just see if he comes back and finds 80% of the form that was the reason you signed him when he's a- actually healthy
