Mets vs Brewers (7/22/26) | Mets Highlights

Despite homers from Marcus Semien and Brett Baty, along with an RBI from Francisco Alvarez, the Mets couldn't overcome the Brewers as they fell 4-3.

Heading for third is Ortiz, and he's got a two-run triple, and the Brewers have a 2-1 lead.

And Yelich slashes one for a base hit, and that'll bring in the third run of the inning.

And after all those cutters, a fastball out over the plate and Yelich goes the other way, and it's 3-1 Milwaukee.

Beatty cranks one out to right field, back near the wall.

It's outta here.

Brett Beatty hooks a home run over the right field wall, his sixth of the year, to get the Mets back within a run.

The Mets' second home run today.

Simeon in the second and now Beatty in the fifth, and it's 3-2 Milwaukee.

The Brewers have the bases loaded and nobody out, and they do not score.

And Yelich socks one to center field.

Long run back for Ewing to the warning track.

The relay throw by Simeon not in time.

Christian Yelich with a long triple, and the Brewers again have a two-run lead.

It's 4-2.

Francisco rips one through the hole, a base hit.

He'll come in to score.

Francisco Alvarez with an RBI single to get the Mets within a run.

Now it's 4-3.

And Ewing lashes one, and a great stop by Ortiz.

And he throws him out, and the Brewers win the game.
