The Mets' young pitching continued to shine as Zac Thornton tossed six scoreless innings while striking out two. Jared Young and Luis Robert Jr. each hit a solo home run, and Carson Benge drove in two runs to power the Mets to a 4-0 win over the Brewers.

Seventh of the year for Jared Young, and the Mets jump out to a one-nothing lead.

Turang can't get it off his glove, a base hit.

Boy, Turang did not go after that ball.
And Benge grounds this one to the right side, and Turang hesitated, and it goes through the hole, and two runs will score.

Now they throw behind Benge.
He wipes out for second, and Vaughn throws it away.
Benge will hold up there as Cherio fields.
I don't know what happened with Bryce Turang on that ground ball.
He just didn't move for it.
The Platinum Glove second baseman just watched as that ball went through the hole, and two runs score, and the Mets lead it three-nothing.
And he got him looking.
Fast ball on the outside corner at the knees, and Cherio is down on strikes, just the second strikeout of the night for Zach Thornton.
Two and two to Turang.
And the breaking ball missed inside, off the glove of Turang, so now they got the runner trapped between first and second.
Oh my gosh.
Now they're gonna go to third and get the out there.
Oh my gosh.
The runner from first base, Ortiz, took off, but Pratt was not moving from second base.
So when Turang threw down, Pratt had to break for third, and he gets thrown out.
Turang flies one out to left.
It's deep.
Back goes Ewing on the warning track.
He stumbles, and he makes the catch, and hangs on.
And Robert cranks one deep left field.
Forget that.
