Nolan McLean tossed seven innings, striking out eight while allowing just one run, but the Mets ultimately fell to the Dodgers 2-1. Kyle Tucker drove in the go-ahead RBI for Los Angeles in the 8th inning as the Mets extended their losing streak to seven straight games.

At Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, the New York Mets play the Los Angeles Dodgers.
A ball hits one to deep right field.
Back goes Tucker at the wall, and it's outta here!
Francisco Lindor leads off the game with a home run.
His first home run, his first RBI of the season, and the Mets strike first on the third pitch of the game.
One-nothing, New York.
Tucker not going, and Smith lines it to left.
Benge coming over toward the line, diving, can't make the catch.
Turning second, Tucker, he's headed for third.
The throw goes to second, and sliding in safely with a double is Will Smith.
He hits one slowly up the line.
Coming in, Vientos, and he's gonna make the play at first, and the tying run scores.
And he strikes him out with a cutter.
So he's got those three different pitches that move left, and that one got Hernandez.
Dodgers tie it, though, one-one after one.
Strikes him out with a beautiful cutter, or was it a splitter?
It was a splitter, Gary.
And another splitter.
This one strikes out Vientos, and Yamamoto's got himself a one-two-three second inning.
High splitter gets Semien looking, and that's three consecutive strikeouts for Yamamoto.
And he struck him out with the splitter.
Fourth strikeout for Yamamoto, who's retired nine straight after Lindor's home run.
Got him looking.
Two-two to Freeman, and he got him.
Nasty.
And Hernandez goes down again, this time on the fastball away.
McLane strikes out the side in the fourth inning.
One-two.
Struck him out with a splitter.
Yamamoto gets in trouble for the first time and finds his way out with his seventh strikeout.
Swing and a miss.
Got him with a sweeper.
Leaster takes strike three call.
One-two.
Struck him out.
He went with the change-up on 1-2.
McLane strikes out three in the inning.
Three-two coming.
And the slider's in there for a called strike three, and Roberts gonna challenge the call.
And so it is, and the inning is over.
One-two coming.
And he pops one into shallow left.
That's gonna fall in for a hit, and the Dodgers will take the lead.
Oh and two to Alvarez.
And he tried to hold, and he went around strike three, and that ends it.
Alex Vesia strikes out the side in the ninth for the save after a tremendous pitcher's duel between Nolan McLane and Yoshinobu Yamamoto.
