All right.
We've got college football coming up here.
Miami is obviously gonna be a big focus taking on Stanford who played a game last week, and beat Hawaii barely.
They held on there.
Also hearing, that lot of injuries here.
Up to four starters on the offensive side of the ball could not be going for Stanford tonight.
One including a defensive, starting defensive lineman for them.
A little banged up out of that first game we're hearing.
Miami was 21, 21 and a half at Memorial Day when this line opened up.
Mm-hmm.
It has been nothing but Miami money since.
23 and a half, 24 and a half.
That seems to be where the line has been drawn, Tom.
Once we get to 23 and a half and it, and it crosses over to that 24, it comes back down so- Yeah you know, and I get it.
You know, 20 you don't want to-- 24 and a half is, is a big number, but I just don't see a world in which Miami's had two months to prepare for one team, has tape on that team now- Yep and all they've had to do is get ready for this traveling spot.
I, I think Miami boat races them because if they thought Hawaii was difficult, I, I Welcome to, welcome to what Miami's gonna bring to the table here.
Yeah, this is, this is a different stratosphere i- is a great way to put it.
Like, it's, you know, it's great to have beat, a team like Hawaii and start your season with a win, but a 24 is And a, 24 and a half is a huge number.
The 46 and a half is also very interesting, but what I'm mostly interested in is Stanford total points, Joe, which is sitting at 10 and a half.
10 and a half points, and it's -146 the under.
It's +114 to the over.
Can Stanford get 12, 13 points?
Can they score two field goals and touchdown?
Is it like, is that what we're hoping for them?
Because, you know, frankly, if Miami is covering this game, you know, where does that leave for the total?
'Cause we talk about a lot, you know, when it comes to college basketball, the shows that we've done in the, over the past years- you know, it's a low total and a super high spread rolling in from there.
Obviously, a lot of that correlates with football as well.
We have a, we have a pretty decent spread here, and we're only dealing with a 46 and a half total.
So if it does stay under, does that keep Stanford within the number?
Because their team prop is not suggesting that they're gonna be doing any of the lifting when it comes to the total.
Yeah.
The, it's interesting 'cause the opening total was 48 and a half.
It got as high as 49 and a half last week.
Then we saw a drop down to 47 and a half, and you're goin', "Hmm," but I think that might have more to do with the fact of now the injuries that we're hearing about a little bit here, Tom, where all of a sudden, your tackle, your starting center, and a guard may not be available along with the best receiver that you had last week.
So that's worth, Watch this about 30 minutes, Tom, before kickoff.
And that'll tell you everything you need to know about the direction that this game is going to, end.
Either way, I don't expect Stanford to look as confident offensively as they did, against the defense of Hawaii which they were able to push around.
They're not pushing around this Miami defense in any way, shape or form.
So I'm looking forward to that one.
As we get more information we'll let you know there
