Who do you think the Wild ends up keeping from that group?
and do you think the Kaprizov contract is really gonna hinder their ability to build out a contending roster around him, even though admittedly the cap is gonna be going up?
The happiest person in the world when they heard the cap was going up to 104 million was Bill Guerin.
but, you know, he's gonna have to make some tough decisions.
You know, players like Nick Foligno, who they brought in from Chicago, I mean, they brought him in because his brother Marcus was there and he actually had a good playoff.
I mean, a lot of these veterans, it depends on whether they're willing to take hometown discounts.
Zuccarello is somebody who's played well with Kaprizov in the past.
You know, maybe at 38 years old, he will take a hometown discount, maybe a bonus laden deal.
I would say at best they sign half of those veteran forwards to, you know, team friendly contracts on defense.
I think you can go out and find, you know, better ads on bottom pairing than Zach Bogosian, who I think is the treads have run off of his tires and Jeff Petry as well.
So that'll be something for Guerin to be looking out, in free agency and finding some bargains.
