And reinforcements could still be on the way.
Let's not forget, the Dodgers still have a lot of pitcher.
I mean, Snell could be, but there's, Acuna just, I believe they just activated- Yeah him from the IL, right, for, the Braves.
There are, you know, not to mention you've got the trade deadline, maybe picking up a, an arm or two here or there could really change the dynamic.
But the National League East is fascinating to me.
Washington's not going anywhere.
I don't think they're going anywhere anyway, 'cause there's too much mediocrity, and Atlanta is far from running away with that division with Philadelphia.
Having a guy like Acuna back, if they can keep him healthy, are you- Mm-hmm betting Atlanta to run away with this one here, Tom?
I think they win the division.
There's no way I can bet into that price, and frankly, betting a- a- against them with injuries, I think that would be a reasonable route to go, and I, I'm not saying that's what you would do.
Their odds right now to make the playoffs are, a minus 10,000, right?
The Dodgers are not on the board.
To make the playoffs- Geez the, the Braves are minus 10,000, the Yankees are minus 8,000, the Rays are minus 8,000, and then there's a drop to the Phillies at minus 900.
So the m- the sports books believe the Braves will make the playoffs, whether it's in the division winner in the NL East or via wildcard if they drop a little bit.
But I can't find a way to, to back them to do so.
Minus 390 is crazy.
The make the miss playoff market is very, very interesting considering we're looking at multiple NL teams here that are all at plus money, and these are all teams that are essentially in a playoff spot or one game out, so we can get into some of that later.
But as for the Braves, I see no way to back them, in, in terms of a division title or anything el- along those lines.
