I thought, you know, I, I, I, I just feel so fortunate, uh, to have the executive team that I have in our football staff and then our coordinators along with our assistant coaches, but especially our coordinator group, and I include Joel with that, with Lavar and Nick and, and Joe, um, like the way that we look at preparing the team, it's our first time going through it, so we're bringing kind of a lot of the macro that I believe in, along with what they've experienced through championship runs.
And kind of meshing all that stuff together a little bit and, um, you know, to be organized, to have the structure the right way, to have what we want to do and how we want to do it as a staff, we have to be operating at a championship level before the guys can and that group has done a really, really good job.
I'm thankful for them.
You mentioned the task of guys, players needing to know where to go, when to get there, and that'll come along.
What were some of the other things that that were accomplished today and what needs to be Yeah, I mean, like, for example, we did what we call run-through today.
We hadn't done that in spring ball, so that was the first time that was exposed to the guys.
We taught them how to take a proper water break today.
It may sound silly, but, uh, it just, we weren't very good at it, so we'll be better at it tomorrow.
Just, just the attention to detail in everything that we do.
So after practice, I walked by a garbage can and maybe it was just pure dumb luck on my end, but I picked up two Gatorade bottles and, uh, some chewy and I took a piece of their ass afterwards because the standard is, we're going to leave everything, everywhere we go, we're going to leave it better than we found it.
And so as that moves forward, that will be held accountable.
