You probably grew up that way.
Yeah, I, you know, I, I think you, you know, I heard it a long time ago.
You either coach it or you allow it to happen, right?
The number one coaches in the world, right?
So you're either allowing guys to be morose and eyors or you're allowing them to be passionate and be tickers bouncing around, you know, and I'm, I err on that side of the Winnie the Pooh.
Uh, aspect of life, I just, especially with football, unlike every other sport at the collegiate level or high school, there are so much regulations and restrictions on how we get to be together and when we get to practice and play our game, you know, Tom, I mean, I, I saw a video, he said they're out there, you know, you know, like doing tubing and playing volleyball.
I mean that would have counted as a practice for us in football, you know, with the way the NCAA looks at that stuff, so.
Uh, you know, just enjoying every moment.
You know, today's the first day we're wrapping up our first press conference today of the twenty-sixth season of the fall.
We're all going to blink and wake up and this season, we're going to be having our last one.
That's how it always works with football, how fast it goes, and especially for our seniors, you know , I think you just got to pour everything into them every single minute of every day.
And then, you know, I, I, I think every coach in the country in their, you know, welcome back meeting in, in their, you know, set the tone meeting, you've got to help them understand.
The vision and the direction that you have and if you, if again I said this on the day in Chicago, you know, there's 18 of us that all believe we're going to win a Big 10 championship, and that's easy to say and it's really, really hard to do, but you have to believe it and we believe it and now we've got to go out and earn it and achieve it, and that's, I'm not going to back away from that being our expectation.
