I am trying to plan ahead of time in terms of where is the market for certain key cards that I'm looking for, two of which right now are the nineteen fifty-two Topps Mantles.

I have several clients looking to buy those.

And then nineteen eighty-four Star Jordans.

I have told you guys a lot this year, it has been the year of Michael Jordan for me.

I've sold several of the key Michael Jordan cards from signed '86 Fleer, signed '84 Star cards.

I've sold '86 Fleer PSA 10s.

I've sold basically every big Michael Jordan card there is in the vintage market, I've sold it, and I still have more clients that are looking to get into those, so I'll be taking a deeper look in terms of some of the market valuations of those cards.

And I do that homework before I go into the show so that when I'm walking, I'm able to identify, "Hey, that is a good deal.

That's the right number.

This guy's way too high.

This guy's way too low."

Obviously, I have my Z-- VCP app right there.

I'm always comping cards when I see them.

But doing a little bit of upfront research in terms of what are some of the key cards I'm looking for, what is the price range I'm looking to spend, whether if it's for me or for one of my clients or whoever, that's gonna be a key thing in terms of the prep work.

I do want to try to do some networking ahead of time in terms of asking some of my favorite dealers that I like to buy from, "Hey, are you gonna be set up this weekend at Fanatics Fest, or are you gonna be at the Dallas show?

You gonna be at the West Coast show?"

Figuring out who the key dealers are that I wanna make deals with ahead of time, will be helpful.

Obviously, also knowing where they're gonna be located.

Javits Center has a lot of space there.

There's a lot going on.

When you walk into the showroom floor, especially at Fanatics Fest or The National, it is a very overstimulating experience.

There is a lot going on.

So being able to kinda know exactly where I'm headed, kinda highlighting and making sure that I'm knocking off the key priorities for me.

There are a couple deals that I already have lined up and done.

I have a fifty-two Mantle deal that I'm handing off.

I have a fifty-four Ernie Banks PSA 8 that I sold that I'm handing off, a forty-nine Bowman Satchel Paige that I'm handing off.

So there's a couple of cards that I've already sold that I'm gonna be handing off to people, so getting those meetings scheduled is always helpful for me personally as well.

But, yeah, I think, like I-- I'm gonna jump onto VCP right now and just take a look at, where the '86 Fleer Jordan market is, personally, because I, again, I have a couple of people that are looking to buy those.

What's interesting about that market, and I'll, I'll highlight it at all different levels, but really every single card this year is making fresh Not all-time highs because of the twenty twenty-one period.

I'll speak a little bit about the Michael Jordan '86 Fleer PSA 10 market.

I've got VCP open right now.

So couple of big sales more recently.

We've crossed the three hundred K threshold.

It's crazy.

About two or three months ago, I sold an '86 Fleer Jordan 10 for like t- in the two nineties.

The last two sales on VCP, three hundred and forty-seven point seven at Heritage, and one just shy of four hundred K at Golden.

It sold for three ninety-six point five.

So, i- if I do see any '86 Fleer Jordan 10s on the floor, I know they're gonna be stickered at above four hundred K, but that's just where the market is.

Now, I'm hesitant to say these are all-time highs on the '86 Fleer Jordan market, because back in twenty twenty, twenty-one, they really ran up, north of half of a million.

I actually can pull up the all-- the entire history of '86 Fleer sales on VCP.

So if I scroll back down to the high in twenty twenty-one, we did have a sale at five hundred and four K at Golden in April of '21.

That looks to be Nope, there was a five twenty-two and a six twelve K sale at Golden.

So yeah, the high at six twelve on April sixth, that was when the hobby was really cooking.

So yeah, pretty crazy data to, to see just the round trip that '86 Fleers went on.

And, the final top tick sale that you see from twenty twenty-one high, the summer of '21, so July seventeenth, so almost five years ago to the day, an '86 Fleer Jordan sold for eight hundred and forty thousand at PWCC, which is now owned by Fanatics.

That is truly a top tick.

Since then, the market has cooled off.

They started to fall back down three hundred, four hundred, three hundred, and then just cooled all the way into sub two hundred K. But now we're starting to see the support come back up, which I love to see.

'86 Fleer Jordan and '52 Mantle are two of the cards that indicate the most strength in the vintage card market to me.

So I'll be curious to see if we see any of those bigger cards on the show floor.
