Look, man, we're not talking about a guy that has to throw the ball all over the place.
Like, I, I just think that the New Orleans Saints, they don't want him to just throw the ball all over the place, and I, I, I do not feel that that is the recipe for success when it comes to great quarterback play.
We have been systematically programmed to believe that's the case, right?
A guy throwing for 4,400, 4,500, 5,000 yards, 50 touchdowns.
Like, you don't have to do that.
To me, if you're throwing for 5,000 yards and 50 touchdowns, that just mean that your running game sucks.
Most of the time it's because maybe your defense is terrible and you have to throw your way back into the game, or, you know, like, you basically just in phone booth type games every single week where you have to go out there and duel it out with the opposing quarterback.
But you don't have to be that, man.
Like, the Saints just need a balance, and Tyler Shuck needs to make plays when necessary.
I don't wanna see the Saints go out there and be throwing the ball all over the place because to me that doesn't generate success.
Like, I think a balanced attack is what is key for a lot of teams when it comes to them finding success.
Look at some of the teams that have won Super Bowls over the last couple of years, it has been about them having a balanced attack.
The Seattle Seahawks, having a balanced attack.
They're not asking Sam Darnold to go out there and throw for 350.
They're, what they're asking him to do is not make mistakes and then hand the ball off to Kenny Walker, and Kenny Walker and Zach Charbonnet was making some things happen before Zach Charbonnet got hurt.
So have a balanced attack, man, because when, if you are just a team that's just throwing the ball all over the place, teams are gonna find a way to try to neutralize that and try to make you put emphasis on a running game, and if you can't put emphasis on a running game, you're, you're going to not find suc-
