NFL Evaluators Are Already Ranking Tyler Warren Among the Elite Tight Ends
After just one season in the NFL, Tyler Warren is already being viewed as one of the league's best tight ends. Rob Gregson breaks down why the Colts star's rare combination of blocking ability and receiving talent has NFL personnel excited about his future.

It's only been one year of the Tyler Warren experience in Indy, and he's already looked upon as one of the best tight ends in the National Football League.
As you can see, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler polled NFL executives, scouts, player personnel, you name it, and they ranked Tyler Warren as the fifth best tight end, and he's only played one year, right?
He had a high ranking of three, a low ranking of 10.
But what I thought was really interesting was the different quotes from the personnel evaluators that Fowler polled, and they basically said that, "Hey, this guy is a do-it-all tight end.
You can line him up at the Y, he's gonna win at the point of attack, and just bury and maul opposing defenders.
And then the very next play, you can really flex him out to be a borderline power slot wide receiver, and he's gonna go run the seam and make a catch downfield as if he is just, you know, a two hundred and fifty pound slot wide receiver," which is quite frankly insane.
I mean, I think of the way he started his season in Indianapolis, really when Indy was on that crazy run and they looked like they were gonna beat any and everybody in the National Football League.
A lot of that was tied to the success of Tyler Warren.
And sure, the second half of his rookie season slowed down, but so did Daniel Jones, so did that offense in general after his injury, right?
So really, I think the arrow is pointing up for Tyler Warren and for the Indianapolis Colts offense in general, because we already talked about Jonathan Taylor's ranking last week.
Then you know that they're returning Alec Pierce.
You have Tyler Warren.
You have Daniel Jones locked down to a long-term deal at this point.
So if you're the Colts, if you're Tyler Warren, if you're an Indianapolis fan, you have to be really excited about the future, the core nucleus of what they're building in Indianapolis.
