San Francisco 49ers superstar tight end George Kittle possesses an understanding of what constitutes elite tight end play.
Beyond his status as a co-found-founder and annual host of Tight End University, he spent nearly a decade functioning as a premier gold standard for the position.
Over his nine highly decorated seasons of his NFL campaign, the multi-pro-- multi-time All-Pro has amassed five hundred and ninety-five career receptions for over eight thousand yards and fifty-two touchdowns, blending historic receiving efficiency with bone-crushing blocking traits.
With the twenty twenty-six installment of Tight End U rapidly approaching and the league's current overflow with athletic talent at the position, Kittle made an appearance on ESPN's The Pat McAfee Show to officially reveal his personal shortlist of the most dangerous tight ends in football.
He highlighted several rising stars that we would naturally expect.

He said, "First off, automatically awesome.
Fannin wears number forty-four.
Two of my favorite players in NFL history, Kyle Juszczyk and Dallas Clark, GOATs.
So you already got that working for you," Kittle explained during his broadcast segment, "And I've watched plenty of his tape, and when we were playing the Browns this past year, he had an awesome touchdown.
But, like, he's a very talented player, moves fast, has a great sense of space, can win on man to man, and catches everything.
And, like, he gives a lot of effort in the run game.
So, like, he has impressed me a ton.
I'm so excited about him."
Fannin completely defied standard rookie development curves in twenty twenty-five.
He concluded his first year in the NFL securing seventy-two receptions for seven hundred and thirty-one yards and six touchdowns.
Those fundamental metrics ranked eighth, ninth, and eighth respectively across the NFL across-- amongst all tight ends.
For Kittle, witnessing this sudden influx of hyper-athletic, conceptually sound tight ends provides an immense sense of pride.
