Alright, let's finish it off in Vegas, um.
Braden Bowman, playing PP one.
Not PP one, first line.
What am I saying?

He was on PP one the other night against the Rangers won, yeah, he is.
Yeah, he was on the first, he got the first goal.
I think it was against the Rangers that night.
Dude, the moment he got called up, he was PPI.
Is that not a bit of an indictment?
The Vegas Golden Knights: why is he going PP1 immediately when they have so many Good players.
Because he's a good fit.
He's a shooter, right?
You know, Warner's a playmaker.
Yeah.
I kind of view Eichel as a playmaker, too.
To a certain extent, though he's shown he can score.
Bowmans a guy whos willing to take the shot, hes shown in the AHL he is, And since he's been called up, So, if you have two guys who are more Playmakers, you'd better have somebody on that first unit who's willing to, You know, basically, for lack of a better term, Grip it and rip it.
And he certainly has shown that desire and ability and willingness to shoot.
Yeah, so if you watch him, obviously, getting called up and doing what he You know, it is a bit surprising.
Also, considering it's Bruce Cassidy, I think its a bit surprising.
I find him really stubborn sometimes, but you look at what Bowman brings, Um, the guy who's a right-hand shot, Mark Stone was a right-hand shot.
He can thread the pass; he's not afraid to do it, and he's not afraid to shoot.
And it makes him ideal on the power play.
I think the top six deployment is a bit more interesting.
But I just want to say that I think he has a lot of fantasy value as long as he stays in That role.
I'm not sure how long Stone's out.
Even when William Carlson comes back, I don't expect them to move Bowman off that spot.
Because I don't think they need to.
Um, wouldn't surprise me if Bowman for the next little while has a lot of fantasy value.
He's still available in most leagues, um.
I don't think we were early on him at all.
I just noticed it was after that first game, His ice time, then I watched him play, and I totally get it.
Yep, I watched him against the Rangers; he clearly has.
No hesitation in shooting right, gets into the right spots, He knows his way around the ice well, playing with Eichel is a benefit, and then on the power Play, Eichel and Marner, and as Jay said, being a right-handed shot, He's kind of a perfect replacement, at least in the short term for Stone.
Mhm.
4 goals, 1 assist in 6 games.
So he is very clearly producing.
Yeah, a goal in three straight games, I think so far one of the best stories of the season.
Too, right?
Like passed over in three drafts.
He was probably going to play in the ECHL at some point in this season.
And look where he is now.
He's getting major league meal money now, yeah, like it's kind of crazy that Vegas has done This before, right?
Like they get all the big trades and everything.
But they also get players coming through their system that are actually really good Productive, and sometimes I look at the Kraken and I'm like, When, when is Bright and Beaneer really gonna take that next step?
You know, like Cattons there, as well, um, but they're just never as exciting as the Knights.
You can argue that Aiden Hill is another success story.
Right?
Came for the most part, yeah, yeah, out of Nowhere, right?
He was kind of viewed as really not Anything for the most part, and then he was a massive part of that cup run and earned a Long-term deal.
Mhm.
Could you imagine if they still had Nick Suzuki?
Jesus.
Yeah, I talked a lot about that a couple of years ago.
How bad of a trade that was.
That was a bad trade.
