Video Transcript

But it's funny, it, the Cubs are just seem to be the forgotten because they play in the same division that the Brewers do here, Craig.

I mean, do the Cubs have a legit shot at running the table here, even against the Dodgers?

I don't think so.

I, I, I think, I, I think the Brewers win the division.

I, I think all your divisions are, are set in the National League.

I, I don't think that The o- the only thing that I could see is some epic run for Philadelphia catching Atlanta.

I, I, I don't think the Cubs catch Milwaukee, and I don't think anybody catches, LA.

Eventually, LA's gonna get hot.

I- it's almost like the same thing when the Red Sox were as hot as they were, and then the Dodgers were as cold as they were, and now it's all evening out again.

And now the Dodgers are playing the Rockies and beating up on the Rockies.

And, you know, the rest is history, so to speak.

Dodgers prob- you know, will also play the Giants, down the stretch.

I'm sure they play the Rockies again before the season ends.

So that West is just, because you have two such bad teams, it makes the schedule really easy for those- good teams in, in the National League West.

And like I said with San Diego, I, I guess they haven't played Washington yet this season.

We know Washington is, is playing kids right now.

You know, they're playing toward next year too.

Yes.

So, yeah, I, I, I, I, look, is it possible- Well, who's built for the playoffs then out of all of those teams?

Oh, well, well, that's much different.

Because Milwaukee, we don't think Yeah.

No.

Milwaukee we don't think- Yeah, much different has the power to have success long-term in the postseason.

The Cubs, I, I, do they have- Well, maybe, maybe.

Maybe.

Maybe.

You know, you think?

I, I don't think they're catching- Maybe the Brewers 'cause the Brewers- No are built for the regular season.

No, but what I'm saying- But- Right, but in the playoffs, they- No way are they built for the postseason.

Oh, in the, like, like if you told me in the postseason that, you know, that a couple of guys got hot pitching for San Diego and then Tats went on, got on fire- Yes Manny Machado, and then they won, I could, a- and then they beat Milwaukee, yes.

I could absolutely see that.

Right.

I'm j- I'm, I was just giving you- Yeah my regular season view, which I think i- i- and the National League to me is, is much clearer now maybe than, than what it was a week ago.

The American League, I have no sense of anything.

For bleep's sake, the Twins just- Yeah swept the Braves.

The Twins, if the season- Right ended today, Joe, are in the wild card.

The Twins.

Every one of these teams, Craig, National League, we certainly know what you m- but every one of them in the National League, lot, everybody has warts.

All of these teams have issues that could come and bite them in the postseason.

It's not going to be a cakewalk for the Dodgers to run a third one back is what I'm saying here.
