What made Philadelphia, you know, the spot for you long term?
I mean, everything about it, you know?
They took me in when I was young and, you know, I went up in the ranks through Lehigh first and, you know, just everything about it, the fans, the city.
You know, it's a great spot to play, and I think we're on the come up, so super exciting.
And, you know, I'm happy to be here for, you know, like you said, the, hopefully the next nine years.
Was there any thought to maybe wait a bit, kinda see how next season plays out once you're, you know, have a whole 84-game healthy season in front of you?
Or was it better to have it done now and just not even worry about what the next, you know, almost decade of your life is gonna look like?
I mean, for me it's, I, I love Philadelphia and I, you know, love, love playing with these guys.
So I mean, they asked me if I would look to extend this year, and it was a no-brainer for me.
I mean, I don't play hockey for the money, so, it's all fun and, you know, just happy to be here hopefully for the next nine years.
