Ohio State Buckeye wide receiver Carnell Tate linked to this NFL dynasty.
Anthony Maglan here with Buckeyes Roundtable.
We're looking at Carnell Tate, and we're looking at Carnell Tate, the Kansas City Chief.
and, and this draft for Carnell Tate i-is, is a really interesting one because I think that his value is so high, and I've personally been able to cover him and been a part of the Ohio State program for the last two seasons, seeing him up close and personal.
I think that he is everything you want, in an NFL prospect.
He's everything you could ever ask for, in a guy that, that's coming out from a receiver perspective.
He's tall, he's fast, he's got good hands, he runs, unbelievable routes.
He's got incredible attention to detail.
He's got a level of compete that's rare, that, that is absolutely rare in this day and age a-and he's a special player.
Now for him, he's probably looking at pick number seven.
If he can last through pick number seven, he's definitely not gonna get, he's definitely not gonna get all the way to 10.
But picks or teams eight, nine and 10 in the draft order are pretty good.
Eight is the New Orleans Saints, nine is the Kansas City Chiefs, and 10 is the Cincinnati Bengals.
Either way he goes to any of those three, he's gotta be confident about the quarterback that he's landing with, and it's Tyler Shuck in New Eng- or in New Orleans, it's Patrick Mahomes in Kansas City, and it's Joe Burrow in Cincinnati.
Now, this draft projec-projection, or this, this, this, post I suppose from the Kansas City Chiefs is linking Carnell Tate to the Chiefs, and I think that that would be amazing for both Carnell and also the Chiefs because ever since Tyreek Hill was traded away in 2022, the Chiefs have been, kind of on a quest to find that type of receiver, that number one type of receiver.
They've been unable to do that and, and that's been a really hard thing for Patrick Mahomes because every They have not dropped in success, right?
They won the Super Bowl the year after they lost the Super Bowl, the, the, the two years after and then he, he gets hurt last year.
But you can always make it easier, on your quarterback and he is going to be losing Travis Kelce here pretty soon.
This is probably Kelce's last year.
And the list of receivers that, that Mahomes has been able to throw to are listed below.
It's not, it's not the best of the best, right?
It's Rashee Rice, it's Xavier Worthy.
it's a couple guys that you don't even probably even remember.
DeAndre Hopkins, was thrown in there as well.
so it's a lot of, it's a lot of misfit toys, really trying to piece it together, for Patrick Mahomes.
If the Chiefs can go out and get Carnell Tate, they can get a legit star, as their number one receiver, it's gonna turn things around pretty darn quickly and would be exciting for Carnell and it'd be exciting for Kansas City.
Appreciate you stopping by.
