And in the twenty-twenty five season, the Oklahoma Sooners had one of the toughest schedules in college football.

Twenty-twenty six isn't much different.

I'm Justin Churchill at AZ Sports Oklahoma, and if you look right above me, you'll see that On3 put out their list per ESPN FBI rankings of the toughest schedules in twenty-twenty six.

And Oklahoma is number two, right behind, the Arkansas Razorbacks, who usually have a top three toughest schedule in, the country.

But you'll, you'll notice that Oklahoma, most of the teams that they play are also on this list.

And that's pretty-- that's pretty wild to think about because you look at Texas, obviously they play Texas, they play Kentucky, they play Ole Miss, they play Mississippi State, they play Florida, they play Texas A&M, they play South Carolina.

Like all They play Georgia, they play Michigan.

All of the teams that they play, not all of them, but most of them, are on this list.

So while, yes, they do have the toughest schedule, I would also look at this as an opportunity to say, "Hey, my team is also playing other teams that have a tough schedule too."

And so maybe it's not as much of a disadvantage as you think.

And maybe in some ways this can be used as an advantage.

I mean, this, this is going to be the Sooners' pitch.

They already know their pitch to get into the college football playoff at the end of the year if, you know, they need a pitch.

And all you gotta do is win games.

Win the games you're supposed to win, don't lose the games that you're-- that you shouldn't lose, and they should be a college football playoff team.

Now, this time it's about whether they can get a win or not.
