Paulo Costa willing to move to heavyweight, face Josh Hokit at UFC White House
Paulo Costa said he is prepared to move to heavyweight and step in for Derrick Lewis on June 14 at the White House, a potential change that would alter UFC plans around the event. Costa notified the UFC he is ready to face Josh Hokit if Lewis withdraws, asserting he can weigh in heavier than Hokit without a cut. The bout placement for Lewis was arranged at the White House at the request of President Donald Trump, according to Costa, who suggested Lewis be rebooked. Costa seeks a bonus after he finished previously undefeated Azamat Murzakanov at UFC 327. Hokit beat Curtis Blaydes by unanimous decision and earned two bonuses.
