Pitching Matchups For Series Between Seattle Mariners, Kansas City Royals
The Mariners will have an opportunity to create separation from the rest of the pack in the American League against the sputtering Royals

Hey everyone, Tarren Kovach here with Roundtable Sports for a quick Seattle Mariners discussion.
So the Mariners today, or Friday at the time you guys are seeing this, will be beginning a six-game road trip comprised of series against the Kansas City Royals and the Athletics.
The Mariners will enter the road trip three games below 500 and two and a half games behind the Athletics for first place in the American League West.
And they will be looking to set up that series on pretty equal footing with this series against the Royals, which takes place this weekend.
They'll be taking on a Royals team that is sputtering, having lost nine of their last 10.
And with all that being said, here are the pitching matchups for the series between the Royals and the Mariners.
Logan Gilbert, 2-4, 4.45 ERA, will start for Seattle in Game 1 on May 22nd, or Friday, against Noah Cameron for Kansas City, 2-3 record, 5.4 ERA.
On Saturday, George Kirby, 5-3, 3.45 ERA, will take on Stephen Kolick for Kansas City, 2-0, 4.24 ERA.
And to round out the series on Sunday, Brian Wu, 4-2, 3.51 ERA, will take on Seth Lugo, 1-4, with a 3.68 ERA.
