Which player will put the rest of the league on notice in Week 1? 'GMFB'

"GMFB" picks the player will put the rest of the league on notice in Week 1.

Video Transcript

We'll do our best.

We're inching closer.

Isaiah, Manti, Kyle, who's another player besides Lamar Jackson if you're gonna imply that he would be an option for this answer, who's another player that you think will put the rest of the league on notice in week one?

I'm gonna go with Jeremiah Love- down there in Arizona.

Yes, I know, Manti.

You don't have to say nothing.

We know how you feel about it.

But Jeremiah Love, the big time runner back, out of, out of Notre Dame.

He's a absolute physical beast.

You see him in the highlights.

Those are from the pre-season.

They only let him touch the ball a handful of times, but what he did show us was that he is ready and he is gassed up.

He is gonna be on the Angry Running scepter at some point in time.

But we'll get to that another time.

I'm looking forward to seeing this young man.

I do believe that he's gonna have plenty of opportunities because I don't think that this offense is gonna be lights out.

However, his opportunities might be lacking because if they find themselves behind in ballgames, how productive can he be if they're gonna be throwing the ball all day?

So I have concerns about how often he's gonna get a chance to touch the ball, but when he does touch it, I think he's gonna put everybody on notice.

It's ironic that you bring up, you know, someone like Jeremiah Love because the guy that I'm saying that p- going to be put on notice or he's gonna put people on notice is Omarion Hampton, and the Cardinals play the Chargers in week one.

Now, when you think about a running back, yes, you have to have somebody that is as a very productive running back, which Omarion Hampton is, but you also have to pair him up with an offensive line.

And that offensive line over there in LA for the LA Chargers with Justin Herbert at quarterback, Mike McDaniel as the offensive coordinator, you already know what Mike McDaniel has done with running backs in the past.

He's gonna feed these boys.

He's gonna put them in position to make big plays.

So many different ways to run the football.

So many different schemes, stretches, powers, traps, whatever you want to He's gonna run it with Omarion Hampton.

And so I know the young man is coming outta North Carolina going to his second year in the league.

He showed a lot of, a lotta promise in his rookie year.

Great contact balance KB.

So I got Omarion Hampton, week one against the Arizona Cardinals putting everybody on notice.

I love Omarion Hampton.

Really fast start last year and got banged up a little bit, but he's a great, great strong runner, and that's the kinda thing we're celebrating today.

To that point, I could talk about any player in the league or any emerging player, but I have one very specifically.

If you've done a fantasy draft lately, and I bet you have, you might have seen this name that maybe was getting passed on, maybe isn't the best available, the running backs that you're not really sure, "Who is this guy?"

You know who I like?

I like Bijan Tuton.

Ooh.

Oh.

Do you know who Bijan Tuton is?

He is a running back on the Jacksonville Damn Jaguars, and here are the Jaguars in an A block five days away from kickoff.

Here's the deal.

Travis Etienne is gone, okay?

The guy that they drafted as, as the quarterback's college teammate and best buddy in Trevor Lawrence.

He went and made a bunch of money from the Saints, and God bless him.

So who is Bijan Tuton?

Bijan Tuton is the guy that they drafted in the fourth round out of Virginia Tech a couple years ago.

What is there to know about him?

He played a bit last year.

He showed promise.

He's small.

He's 59, 209.

But guys, he runs a 43.2.

Oh wow.

Ooh.

Not this 43.9 entry level 4.3.

He is tied for the fastest, the fourth fastest running back in combine history with Devin Etienne.

Devon Etienne, the guy that we love.

This guy runs as fast as him.

Liam Coen calls, calls Bijan Tuton Toot.

He calls him Toot.

You might remember last year in, if you watched th- them against the Chargers, if you watched them against the Bengals, good bursts of energy, bursts of speed.

This is the lead back.

He is the RB1 for a playoff team that is wanting to do big things this year and has Super Bowl aspirations.

Bijan Tuton.

Now, there's another running back, Chris Rodriguez Jr., who'll be in the mix, but I like this guy.

I think he's got big play ability, and I think it's awesome that a fourth-round young player named Bijan Tuton, who played only a bit last year, is now not like oh, RB2.

No.

Go to the list.

Trevor Laurence, Bijan Tuton.

I just wanna keep saying his name.

I could talk about anybody in the league.

Bijan damn Tuton- .

Is someone that I'm buying stock in.

And guys, week one they play the Browns.

Everyone's gonna be watching that game mostly to see how the Brown's quarterback plays.

Fine, it's a 1:00 kickoff on Sunday.

It's not exactly off the marquee.

But when this dude named Tuton starts making plays for the Jaguars, you heard it on Good Morning Football.

Pallsboro High School in New Jersey, a North Carolina A&T product, goes to Virginia Tech and then becomes a fourth-round pick for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

There you go.

Team.

Kyle, w- what'd you pay?

What was the going rate to get all three of you to go running backs for that s-, for that segment?

Awesome.

I asked a player that will be put on notice in week one, and somehow magically with angry runs draft on deck everyone went with a running back.

Runnin' back, runnin' back, runnin' back.

Yeah.

Well- Listen, Jeremiah Love, I, we, we wanna see him, man.

I, I, I'm, I'm sending out thoughts and positivity for Jeremiah Love for, for his tacklers around him- Mm-hmm for how many games they're gonna win this year.

I want health for him, Isaiah, 'cause he's amazing, but like it may be some tough sledding this year.

Hey, Kyle, I'ma go ahead and put this out there right now, okay?

W- we're claiming this.

GMFB gets credit for this.

Okay.

Yeah, yeah.

Every time you see Bijan carry the rock everybody's gonna do the Major Payne and go, "Toot, toot."
