Video Transcript
Quaid, you look like you got quite a bit bigger since you got here, you know, have your strength numbers improved?
What are they?
Just how much weight have you put on since you first got here?
Uh, since I've been here, I put on about 14 to 15 pounds.
So, you know, I'm just getting bigger.
You know, it's the Big 10, so you gotta get much bigger, and you know, you got bigger athletes coming for you.
You got bigger linebackers that weigh much more than the running backs.
So, you know, I gained 14 to 15 pounds.
I just which one of your strength numbers improved the most, um.
My bench press and my power clean, I'd say is the most.
All right, you're gonna try to get as big as Jaden over here?
Yeah, you see this dude's biceps right here, man?
I'm trying to look like him, but yeah.
Are you surprised that opportunity has come so quickly for you in your second year?
No, I'm not.
I'm not surprised.
I've, I've been working towards this.
Me and, you know, Coach Graham have, have had our talks, but no, I'm not surprised.
I'm ready.
I think I've developed well, you know, I still got room to develop, but you know, I'm ready.
Uh, Scotty talked a lot about, you know, learning to deal with the pressure of knowing you're gonna be a big contributor this year.
How have you attacked the mental side of that in preparation?
Uh, honestly, I just, just been praying.
