Raiders G Caleb Rogers Post 49ers Presser Preseason Week 3

Video Transcript

How do you assess the offensive line performance tonight?

Um, I don't know.

I'm not a coach.

It's not my job.

I don't, uh, I haven't watched film.

Uh, it felt great being out there.

It felt great being out there as a group.

Felt like we were, uh, they were, they were moving a lot up front.

I don't know.

I just don't want to speak too much of that right now.

I haven't watched the film.

You, uh, I mean, obviously this is your last chance before the regular season.

How close do you think the group is, uh, to being ready for the season?

Uh, I mean, like you said, last chance for the season.

We're, we're as ready as we can be, and we got to continue to take that step every single day, raising our standard every single day and never feeling like we're ready, you know, there is never a ready.

When you get to that point, that's when you relax.

So just continue to push our standard and push each other every single day with competition, the key word for every position group, specifically for you as well, how does that push all of you guys on the line and how do you feel like you did in solidifying your starting goal?

Uh, same thing like I said, you know, it's just about raising our standard every single day, you know, whenever we, whenever we're rotating, whenever we're pushing each other to get better, it's not just about, you know, what I want or what he wants, you know, at the end of the day it's out of both of our control.

It's about raising our standard of play.

I think that's something that we've done a great job of this season, you know, bringing in someone like Tyler, bringing Spence, bringing in everybody that we've had.

And so just raising our standard of play and pushing each other all to do our best.

Do you feel like you left everything out on the field tonight?

Absolutely, without a doubt.

And Mike, in the first series that you were in, Mike had some, he was able to, you know, pick up some good yards.

What did you see from him and his role as he stepped up with the first team today?

I mean, he's an explosive kid.

Y'all have watched it all.

Preseason and I'm excited to see what he does, but he comes to work every single day, doesn't say very much, just, you know, puts his head down and again that's just about raising the standard of the running back room, which they all do together, you know, it's a group effort and it's incredible to watch, be a part of in those runs where they were kind of on your side.

Do you feel like when you saw him run fast that everything was kind of clicking in that moment?

I don't know.

I'm just out there.

I'm just out there trying to do my job, you know, block the people and then let him do his job.
