You talked about in the spring reaching out to Max and and trying to learn things from him.
What's the experience been like for you?
Uh, it's been really good, uh, just being able to get adjusted, being able to, um, be a part of the team, but also being able to be around a good group of guys to, uh, developing, um.
I cracked that eggshell and just come out of my comfort zone to get better each day, each and every day with the guys.
In what way have you come out of your comfort zone so far as that?
Yeah, it's, it's really just more so just, um, the hesitation, uh, just being able to play fast and physical, uh, and remember what I'm told, Remember, uh, the basics and remember the, um, the things that I, that I got drafted for.
How how similar or different is it to what you expected?
Uh, it's, it's definitely different, but it's also just being able to compete with the guys, being able to, um, you know, it's, it's all about the team, just being able to, um, look at the bigger picture and the, the end goal is just to win.
You guys are heading into your, you're heading into your first ever joint practice.
What are some things that maybe the vets have told you to expect and how to handle that situation?
Um, this is going to be intensive and have great competition.
So is it going to be a dogfight?
How are you looking to Bigger name for yourself in this opportunity to tackles, uh, just being able to stick and stick to, uh, what I'm told and what I, what I've been taught, uh, just going out here, uh, nothing's going to change as far as the work ethic and the things that, uh, all the guys, uh, come in here and put the work in and do.
So we are gonna play as one and compete.
You talked about in the spring reaching out to Max and, and trying to learn things from him because now in training camp.
What have you picked up from him and kind of what's your relationship?
Uh, that's Mad Max, uh, he, he, he's very dedicated and intentional in everything he does.
Uh, I just sit back and observe, and, uh, take, take what I can and apply it to my own self, but just having a guy like that to be around and, um, study and just like being able to watch and, uh, take from him is, is definitely, uh, is definitely, uh, honorable.
Are there any other veterans that you're learning from other than Max Crosby?
Uh, every, every veteran that we have in the.
Wide receiver, defense, offense, quarterback position, they all, they all speak vocally they all uh have those leadership traits and have that that winning mentality that's gonna uh change the program.
