Raiders Lose Fourth Straight, Kubiak Keeps QB Door Open for Mendoza

The Las Vegas Raiders fell 35-21 to the Los Angeles Rams for their fourth straight loss. Coach Klint Kubiak says personnel and scheme are under review, which leaves the door open for top draft pick Fernando Mendoza. Kirk Cousins, who led a 3-0 start, has struggled against pressure and man coverage, and he says the team should play whoever gives it the best chance to win. Mendoza brings more mobility, but the problems go deeper than quarterback: Ashton Jeanty ran for just 15 yards, the defense gave up 199 rushing yards, and Las Vegas has allowed 30 or more points in every game of the skid.
