That's Glenn Kubiak uh inspiring the rest of the coaching staff.
I mean, that dude is, is like a machine, right?
Like he, he demands so much of us and it's awesome and it's like one of the things that I crave, right, because that accountability not only to yourself but to the group of men that are out here and women that that help us out, um, it's just to, to have a leader like.
him is really special, um, and I'm fortunate to be able to be with him because he's helped me grow as a coach as well , um, and keep me, you know, accountable and and focusing on the little things and, and never letting anything slip up or pass by because you can always take that opportunity to make sure that, you know, you get, um, Those guys in the right positions for them to be successful because at the end of the day, that's all that matters is what they know and what they can go out there and do and produce.
There was some hype on Roman.
Yeah, that's not free agent.
What have you seen?
I mean, Rome has been excellent, man.
I mean that dude freaking comes in and he's like a super professional, right?
Like I mean, for sometimes Rome gets very limited reps, but the reps he's going out there and getting, he's earning himself more reps as we go through this, this because of his process, um, and how he goes about attacking.
Things as well.
And so, um, I'm really excited about Rome because he, he, he really goes out there and he gives everything he has.
He's balls to the wall and, and, and it's fun to just see him go out there because he's having fun when he's out there practicing.
So, um, really excited about Ram too.
Coach, what are you seeing out of Ashton GT in terms of his patience and vision, man, that's a great question, man, because that dude like.
I thought he was already that, but to see how much he has grown even still within this offense, um, when we first started, nothing was pretty for us as a group, right?
Like we were all learning each other, learning the offensive line, learning the terminology and everything like that.
Um, but as things start to slow down, the more meetings we have, the more things that we've been able to do, um, to slow the process down off the field is starting to show up on the field.
And so now he's starting to play way faster and see.
Holes open up way sooner than he ever has before, which is pretty cool, you know, and so like he's just maturing is really the at the end of the day that the word that I would use is he's just getting better, uh, taking one step at a time, and I love how he's attacking every single day that he's coming into work.
Would you say Ashton has matured as a leader?
Absolutely.
Like I, I, that was one of my first challenges to him, um, when I first got here was just saying, hey man , how can we pick up and make sure that first you.
And then the group, more importantly, and then spread that to the rest of the offense and the rest of the team, and he's been doing a great job of that, man, every single day of just trying to be a leader but trying to be his self, you know, with, with him being a leader and not trying to do, um, things that's not him, so it's not inauthentic, right?
He wants to be an authentic self, be his authentic self.
