How, how do you cope?

You just have to, I mean, he asked about fundamentals and that's how you do it, you know, you got to get it in, in a fundamentally sound order.

Uh, you have to look at everyone individually, see, you know, sometimes, um, the referees were here, we had a discussion about one of them, and, uh, you know, I was vehemently said that, uh, I didn't think it was a penalty, um, so that's one of the ones that you gonna have to go through and, and, uh , believe it or not, sometimes they agree with you.

Probably not during the regular season, but preseason they do, uh, so we'll just have to work through those things, but I think you have to look at them individually and then coach them out as far as all of your fundamentals go.

Matt Gay has been very consistent this camp and like your thoughts on where he is.

Yeah, I mean, uh, you know, uh, I think Matt is right now in a really, really good space.

I think we're in a good space from an operations standpoint.

If you remember when I first came here, that's why I said he needs to get as high level as you can get it, so he's as high level as he can be.

Um, but, uh, you know, he's had a great camp.

Um, you know, I know, I know.

We've had a great kicker here.

Daniel's a great kicker.

He got signed at, uh, New Orleans, and I'm glad for him, but, uh, sometimes that moves on and you got to go from there.

And, and, uh, we're supporting Matt and everybody's 0 and 0 right now, including him.

So we'll see how the season goes for sure.

AJ Cole has gotten a lot of work in the preseason games, 10 points so far.

What did you see from him that you look and see it's like, hey, man, this is an all-pro guy that can definitely be out there.

Yeah, I mean, he's a G, man.

I mean , he's, he's what you're looking for.

He's how they're supposed to look.

He's, he's an unbelievable worker.

He's so, he's so, uh, Uh, tight on his craft.

Like he wants to be the best, and you can see that every single day.

I mean, the guy punts more than anybody I've ever seen.

I mean, as far as practice goes, it's unbelievable the amount of punts he gets in, but he's a great worker, great, uh, great punter, and I think he's gonna be really good.
