Yeah, it was obviously a really cool opportunity, and, forever grateful for this opportunity.
And, yeah, walking through the, through the doors today was, was special, and glad I got to come in yesterday and kinda get my, my feet wet a little bit.
So today, not, not by any means it was a normal day, but it felt a little more comfortable.
And, it was just a blast out there, and, the way the game finished was, was truly, was really cool, so.
You've pitched in some pretty high stakes and important games throughout the course of your college career, but what were the jitters like today, and how did they compare?
Yeah, I feel like I've, had the opportunity to pitch in some pretty big games, and, I've, I've used those games to help me through this one.
Obviously, there's gonna be some jitters, but I feel like I controlled it pretty well and, got through those pretty quick, just to be able to go out there.
At the end of the day, it's just another game, and I feel like when you have that mindset, it really just calms the nerves a little bit.
Dan mentioned how it looked like it kinda took an inning for you and Cal to get that, chemistry going, just what was that experience like working with him and kind of getting on the same page as the game went on?
Yeah, I think that's one of the cooler parts about, today, is for him to be able to catch me.
And, what y'all, what y'all don't see is just, like, the game plan that he does and, how much time he takes in order to go through a lineup.
So that was really cool, just to be able to go through a meeting before the game like that.
And then, yeah, obviously there's a lot of trust in, just what, what pitches he called.
And, yeah, obviously first one today, and excited to continue to, like, build that relationship moving forward.
