What's going on, guys?
Adam here, and I was thinking over the weekend, you know, Detroit Lions have had four consecutive winning seasons.
We made the playoffs in two of those years.
We were the one seed in one year.
We've won two divisions in the last four years, and they've been pretty good.
We've seen three straight new Super Bowl champions, from the Chiefs to the Eagles to the Seahawks.
a couple other, you know, new teams in there, the Patriots, that was another team.
Obviously, Seattle winning it all came out of nowhere pretty much.
They did not make the playoffs the year before.
maybe they did.
but regardless, they didn't make it real far.
Sam Darnold gave them a huge boost.
you got other teams like the Rams and the Eagles, who are good, but are, are definitely beatable.
So is the Detroit Lions' Super Bowl window more open or more closed?
Do we think it's gotten harder to win the Super Bowl, or do we think the path has gotten easier?
And to me, I think it's easier, you know?
We keep seeing different teams make it to the Super Bowl, win the Super Bowl, you know.
last year, we saw it was the Seahawks and the Rams.
The year before that, Eagles and Commanders, you know, four different teams in that NFC Championship game over the span of, you know, the last two years.
So I definitely think it's still wide open.
There's no clear-cut juggernaut.
I know Seattle looked very good, and they're young and have a great defense, and Mike McDonald, you know, coming out party.
But regardless, who's to say the Detroit Lions can't just come out of nowhere one season and just run away with it and look like the clear-cut best team?
In fact, they even did a couple years ago when they went fifteen and two.
But to me, I think the Super Bowl window is more open than it is more closed.
I just think there's no clear-cut dynasties in the league.
The Chiefs have started to regress a bit, Mahomes tore his ACL.
The Eagles, didn't even make it to the NFC Championship game after winning the Super Bowl.
So it's interesting, but I definitely think the window is more open than it is closed.
