Looking back at your old team, you look at who's under center in New England.
Drake May.
Are there things where you watch his game and you're saying, "Hey, I know that's 10, but he'll, he looks a whole lot like 12"?
Yes.
I would say just his patience in the pocket and how he reads the, you know, field, how he reads the defense, and that's what it's all about to be a great quarterback, especially a great pocket passer.
Right.
I mean, those are the players that, you know, play for a long time, are the ones that just sit in the pocket, analyze the defense, and get the ball to where the ball needs to go, and doesn't force, you know, the ball to where it shouldn't go and make big errors because of it.
And that's what I see in Drake May, and that's what Brady had.
That, that's what they're very s- similar with.
And another character that, characteristic that I love to see in Drake May, is his deep ball.
I mean- Right he has one of the best deep balls in the NFL, and he just places it nicely, and I've been seeing some highlights in camp this year.
And that deep ball just keeps getting better and better, and just his placement to where it needs to go, away from the defender to where only the wide receiver can make the catch, that's what makes a great quarterback great.
And that's what Tom did also.
He put the ball in places where only I could go make the play, even though if I was covered, because he knew I was bigger and stronger than the guy c- you know, guarding me.
And we're really gonna see it now to another level with A.J.
Brown being his wide receiver- Total stud, yeah 'cause he, he's kinda like me, but as a wide receiver, so- Right can he place the ball, can Drake May place the ball to where A.J.
Brown can use his body, you know, to go up and make the play because the ball is where it needs to be for him to do that?
We will see this year.
High school and college football, that's when you fall in love with the game.
