No, it was a good win.
We played well.
It was great to see Wheeler, do what he did, and have the velocity that he had, and the command that he had.
And, you know, he 36 pitch fourth inning, so I was a little concerned, fatigue factor, and I went down and asked him.
He said, "No, I'm good."
Then he went out and pitched great in the fifth.
So, on a quick inning.
So, bullpen did a great job.
we kept fighting and clawing.
Harper with a big night, huge night.
so it was, it was a good win.
Big talking point was Wheeler's velocity coming in.
Were you surprised at all when he was, you know, lighting up 96 in the first inning?
Well, I've been telling you guys all along, and, you know, I can't guarantee it, but I would think that the adrenaline will kick in once he gets into one of these games.
And, being Atlanta, and ho- hometown, and how good, you know, they're playing, I, I think the adrenaline did kick in and, and he, yeah, he rose to the occasion.
Did you sense any, sense anything different in the clubhouse before the game knowing that Wheeler was coming back tonight and I don't think so.

No, I don't think so.
These guys were, you know, they were playing something in the weight room while the, we- during the rain delay, and they were all hooting and hollering.
So they had some energy and, and that's it's been like that for the last few days, and it really hasn't left.
It's just, you know, we just didn't play well.
But I like that we're, the way we're playing.
Hopefully, we're turning the corner.
How do you put those 10 games behind you beyond winning one today?
Win tomorrow, or play well tomorrow.
You know, just keep stacking on well-played games, after well-played games, after well-played games.
How much do you think it was wearing on him at the end there?
And did you I mean, you said you're happy, but is there Could you feel a weight off your shoulders in, in a sense?
I mean- Well, no it's kinda like- I mean, I think everybody's, everybody's happy and ev- you know, everybody's energized.
And, I'm sure they can't wait for tomorrow, you know, to get after it again.
We got a tough opponent in Chris Sale, but, you know, I think they're, I think they feel good about it right now.
How important was it for Zach to have that strong fifth inning after kind of a bumpy fourth inning as far as- Yeah like, walking away feeling good about it?
Yeah, it was huge.
You know, because he, I think he ended up with 84 pitches.
He had 90, was his max.
And, you know, the way we use our pitching tonight, we went one plus with a couple of guys.
Didn't really wanna do it there.
I wanted to get him through the fifth, and, I think Baldwin was, was his last hitter.
and Olson's had s- some good at-bats against him, so, it was great to get him through that inning, so we didn't have to, you know, because of pitch count, take him out, and then now we gotta do one plus with somebody else to- Did you say anything to Zach afterwards?
I mean, just 'cause of the long road to recovery, you know, blood clot, surgery, long rehab, and then he comes out and shows what he does.
I don't know if you said anything to him.
Nothing out of the, out of the ordinary.

How much can you, you know, obviously that 10th inning's important.
How much can you build on just the way you did it?
Like, Trey works a walk, Schwarber works a walk, Harper single through the left side.
You know, like, big inning without a home run, and they just moved the line.
Yeah, and, and, and that's what we're looking for.
You know, I don't know how, how you build on it, but that's what we're looking for, those type of at-bats where you're, you know, trusting the guy behind you, and, and moving the line and, and 'Cause eventually, you know, you're gonna pop a ball and, and create a, a crooked inning.
So, that's what we need to do.

Was that just 'cause he, he had a- Well, the thing is, is that, you know, he's on fumes right now.
We've used, we've used him a lot and, so we, we need to give him a couple of days here just to He's, he's been terrific.
