Ronda Rousey Prepared to Be Dana White’s 'Most Favorite Adversary'

Ronda Rousey will face Gina Carano on May 16 under Most Valuable Promotions, marking her first fight since 2016. The featherweight bout will stream on Netflix, placing the Ronda Rousey comeback fight in a high-visibility setting outside the UFC. In a video released Monday by MVP, Rousey said the matchup carries an "MVP versus UFC" dimension alongside the Gina Carano meeting. UFC president Dana White confirmed he and Rousey discussed the fight last year under the UFC banner, saying it ultimately did not work out and that he is happy for both. The bout was announced last week and has attracted significant attention.
