Rumored Taylor hold-in not a concern in fantasy

Coming off an elite 2025 season, Jonathan Taylor is headed into his age 27 campaign.
Kyle Dvorchak, translation for a running back, maybe not a whole lot of his prime left, and as such, The Athletic's James Boyd, who's a beat writer for the Colts, speculates Taylor could hold in during training camp.
He's not saying this is going to happen.
He's not even saying it's really based on sources.
He's just a plugged-in reporter making an educated guess.
I take James Boyd at his word that this could be a possibility for Jonathan Taylor.
If it does happen, how concerned would you be in fantasy football?
Typically, I don't have that much concern with these things.
We always remember the ones that go terribly.
You think of, like, Brandon Aiyuk right before he fell off in the 2024 season.
He had a bit of a contract situation, then he played some pretty poor football, and then he gets hurt.
We also had a terrible Ja'Marr Chase contract situation where the Bengals stubbornly didn't wanna play him, and then he went on to win the Triple Crown, as far as receiver production goes, in that exact year.
The bad ones always stick out, but more often than not, things just pan out as we expect, where Taylor probably does get an extension of some variety, or even if he doesn't, it's not like he's going to miss time because of this.
At least, that's not the most likely outcome by far.
And we're looking at a player coming off of back-to-back 300 carry seasons, back-to-back 1,400 rushing yard seasons, and while that's a massive workload, they give it to him 'cause he can largely handle it and because he's one of the few running backs in the NFL who can see that kind of work and still be one of the most efficient running backs in the NFL as well.
I'm still drafting him as a first-round pick.
Maybe if this carries on into late August I change my mind.
We're just not there yet.
Yeah, Jonathan Taylor, first and foremost, is a player where you just worry about his health.
The contract situation will either take care of itself or it won't.
He's not gonna hold out regular season games.
He's not even holding out or holding in yet.
It's just speculative.
Jonathan Taylor may be a player on the contract spot this summer.
