Sean O’Malley desperate for stoppage win at UFC White House
Sean O'Malley declared that a decision victory would count as a loss ahead of his June 14 bout, signaling the standard he intends to set. The former UFC bantamweight champion faces Aiemann Zahabi at UFC White House, where he says only a finish will suffice. O'Malley added he would give up his rankings position if the fight goes the distance. He has finished six of his 11 UFC wins and last stopped an opponent in 2023 when he knocked out Aljamain Sterling. He defended once against Marlon Vera, then lost to Merab Dvalishvili, fell short in a rematch last year, and beat Yadong Song by decision at UFC 324 in January.
