Sean Strickland admits women's champ tapped him out ‘like 20 times’

UFC champions Sean Strickland and Kayla Harrison trained together at American Top Team, with Harrison's Instagram Stories capturing Strickland acknowledging multiple submissions. Strickland said Harrison tapped him out numerous times and noted she used throws he could not name, underscoring the Olympian's grappling background. The UFC bantamweight champion previously was forced out of a scheduled UFC 324 title defense against Amanda Nunes due to a neck injury. Harrison made her UFC debut in 2024 and dethroned Julianna Pena in her third promotional outing. Strickland regained the middleweight title with an upset over Khamzat Chimaev in May and is recovering from a shoulder injury, with rematches against Chimaev and Nassourdine Imavov rumored.
