Let me go over to Seattle there and go up to the Pacific Northwest.
What's happened to the Mariners this year?
So, a- and we say what's happened to them this year, but isn't, isn't this I mean, it's a little worse this year because I think, the division's down, the Rangers are not good, the Astros are not good, and there's a huge opening for the Mariners to fill that spot to be the best team in the division.
So I think we might be expecting more out of them.
But really, is this anything new for the Mariners?
Or is this what they do every year?
Because for me, since I've really, you know, dove into the capping part of baseball, I feel like the Mariners every single season have a team that's got the pitching staff, not just the pitching staff, one of the best pitching staffs in baseball.
You know, they've got the hitters in their lineup, but they can't hit, they can't produce runs when they're needed, right?
They might go out there and win an 8 to 10 ball game, but when it's a, when it's a two to one ball game, they don't get the runs that they need.
They lose those one run ball games year in, year out.
It's a culture thing, Dan.
That's my answer, is it's a culture thing.
It's a culture thing in the clubhouse.
And no, I'm not in that clubhouse to give you exactly what the, what the temperature of the room is.
But I can tell you this, when you have something that we see season over season over season, that turns me into looking at the culture of the, of, of the Mariners here.
And then another thing, you can't see the baseball at T-Mobile Park.
That's why they have such good pitching numbers and such bad hitting numbers.
It's like the Cowboys stadium with the glare.
Fix it.
Do something.
Everybody says they can't see the baseball at T-Mobile Park, and you just keep playing baseball at T-Mobile Park.
Okay.
So since you're capping baseball games and baseball teams, dude, do I put money on the White Sox?
Every time I'm waiting for that thing to turn into a pumpkin, you know, Cinderella went out, you know, it struck midnight and that thing turned back into a pumpkin.
Are they gonna be a pumpkin or are they gonna be somebody at the end of the year?
I think they might be somebody.
I think they might.
You know, you've seen some of the teams that I was hoping would turn out that turned into that pumpkin you're talking about, like the Pirates and some of these other teams that I was really hoping could push through.
I, I think the White Sox can, can g- I know they're only three games above .500 right now, but their culture and their clubhouse, which is what I come back to, they've got, they've got good, they've got good energy right now around this team.
And w- the, Astros too, right?
Making a push back to try to get back in this thing a little bit, right?
I mean, they don't gotta do much.
If they can just, uh- Right you know, stay above All they, all they gotta do is stay above .500.
You be a .500 baseball team, you get to win that division.
Boy.
Rangers dropped six in a row, losing three straight to the Astros.
It's tough for me to watch because I kinda root for the Rangers, but I have money on the Astros, so go Astros.
