The Tampa Bay Rays have had, you know, arguably their worst run of the season here because they've lost a lot of home games, which they haven't done all season long.
Losing to Toronto, losing to Baltimore.
That's, you know, quite surprising here, Tom.
But, you know, in the end, every team over 162 is gonna lose five out of six, six out of seven, a few games in a row.
I kind of feel like that's what's going on here.
Maybe.
I don't know.
Do you have more concerns here with Tampa Bay?
I personally don't.
I think, you know, eventually they bounce back.
And by the way, to that point, would you rather have this going on in September or August?
I think the Rays would say right now.
I think if I want to find a reason and actually say that there's actually something wrong with the Rays, I would say it's their pitching staff and how they've been losing games because, you know, seeing, like losing games to Baltimore the, you know, last week, 6-5, 10-2.
They do win a game 7-6.
They lose to the Blue Jays 10-5.
They win 7-6.
They're losing 5-1.
It's like they're losing and giving up a ton of runs.
It's not as if it was early in the season and they lose games.
Like, yeah, it's 3-1.
They just didn't have a You know, the unluckiness of baseball caused them to just not hit for a couple games.
Like they're still hitting, but now their pitching has taken a massive step back, especially when they're at home, which should be such a good pitcher's park.
But it is just a, a bad stretch.
Coming up, they play the Tigers, the Padres, and the Mets.
Those are their next three series.
So two of those three series they can probably get back on track
