Tariq Skubal, of course now with the Los Angeles Dodgers, seems to be throwing more pitches than ever with LA.
In fact, he threw 109 six days ago, 106 again most recently.
And, for whatever reason, either the LA's letting him go a little bit or he's having a harder time get through games, Tom.
You make anything of this or is this just preparing to maybe pitch three times in a seven-game series in the postseason?
What do you think?
I don't make much of it now.
I wanna see how he, he shapes up, you know, in the last week of September.
Is he actually pitching that volume in September?
Do they need him to pitch that volume in September?
I would like to think that they, they try and scale back on him and all their pitchers, not just Skubal, all their pitchers.
Are they gonna scale back on him and Yama- Yamamoto and Snell and, you know, Glasnow, who's expected back?
Are they just scaling back on them and only having them throw 80, 85 pitches in their final starts?
Because if they need to throw 100 pitches, A, he's either struggling to get through the game or the Dodgers need to be winning games, which I just don't think will be the case
