They're blaming him for not putting in Mills.
One, it's not guaranteed he wins.
Two, Stroud didn't play as bad as he did in the first half.
And, you know, made some good plays.
But three, you put in Mills, that's, that's the end of the C.J.
Stroud era in Houston.
I know people will say, Well, F that.
No, you can bounce back.
Look at Bryce Young.
Bryce Young was in year two when he got benched.
And it wasn't the divisional playoff game on national television.
And, and Bryce Young hadn't accomplished what C.J.
Stroud has accomplished.
He wasn't the Rookie of the Year.
He didn't win three playoff games already in his career.
Even if you wanna try and, you know, belittle those wins by Stroud and say which is not true.
I mean, the Steelers game, I can hear on that, but the other ones, he definitely did his part on those.
So, but that's what happens.
I mean, so.
And it's not about this moment to take a risk for something that doesn't even guarantee a win.
And I get it as a fan, I get it, but when you look, it depends on if it's easy to say fan, but when you're sitting there and you're him, and you look at the big picture, You don't do that.
And to me, as someone who knows Stroud, who Stroud is, and my opinion is he is legit, and he is a franchise quarterback.
And I've seen his body of work, and I think about that.
