It's Time for the Bills to Actually Go Do It

It's time to stop talking about it and actually do it, and that is exactly how Buffalo Bills fans should feel about their football team in 2026.
What's up, y'all?
It's Ross Johnston with ABC Sports, and Devin McCourty was talking about the Bills' additions at wide receiver heading into this upcoming season, and that that could be the difference maker for this team going into the season.
Now, that quote was in reference to something that was said by Bills left tackle Dion Dawkins, who I'm sure is feeling the same sentiments that many of you fans are feeling because the Super Bowl window for the Buffalo Bills with Josh Allen as their quarterback is closing.
It's still there, but it is closing.
Josh Allen and some of these guys are only getting older, so it's time to actually go do it.
And when you look at a guy like DJ Moore, who the Bills brought in, this is the veteran presence they need.
This is the number one wide receiver that Josh Allen needs.
Obviously, there's been, you know, not the best talent for him out there at the wide receiver position.
They need that alpha out there.
They really haven't had it since losing Stefon Diggs.
And DJ Moore can be that guy.
He has had multiple 1,000-yard seasons in the NFL with Carolina, with Chicago, and he's got the best quarterback of his life that he's played with yet in Josh Allen.
I expect him to have a huge year and make a difference on the perimeter.
And the other guy they referenced was Skyler Bell out of UConn, the fourth-round pick, pick 125.
This dude can play now.
Let's not forget he started his career at Wisconsin and contributed for a couple seasons there and then took off at UConn.
And he provides a type of receiver that the Buffalo Bills need out there, someone who can get open.
He's a little physical, a little grimy, and he's shifty.
He can make plays with the football.
And when you look at Skyler Bell's numbers, obviously, at UConn, again, he exploded, had over 800 yards two seasons ago.
Last year goes for over 1,000, 13 touchdowns, by the way, which means he is a red zone monster.
This is a guy that the Buffalo Bills need on the perimeter.
I think their receiver room got a major upgrade this year.
And I agree with Devin McCourty.
That could be the turning point in the Buffalo Bills potentially hoisting a Lombardi in February of 2027.
