Tom Brady Rips Roughing Calls in Lions' 20-17 Win Over Packers

Fox analyst Tom Brady questioned the officiating in the Lions' 20-17 win over the Packers at Ford Field. He first objected to an unnecessary roughness flag on Derrick Barnes, then went after a roughing the passer call on Green Bay's Karl Brooks during Detroit's final drive with the score tied. That penalty followed an 18-yard Jared Goff completion to Sam LaPorta and moved the Lions to the Packers' 40. Rules analyst Dean Blandino agreed the hit was neither late nor to the head or neck. Green Bay has now drawn eight roughing the passer penalties this season, and no other team has more than four. Jake Bates kicked the game-winning field goal.
