The Golden State Warriors waited and waited, but ultimately lost the LeBron James sweepstakes to the Philadelphia 76ers.
After signing Draymond Green to a one-year deal and with Jimmy Butler still recovering from his injury, where do the Warriors go from here?
Although things don't look good for the Golden State Warriors, what their fans and the rest of the NBA need to recognize is that this team had won around 68 to 69% of their games with Jimmy Butler healthy.
That trio of Draymond Green, Jimmy Butler, and Stephen Curry has proven that they can still win in a very competitive Western Conference.
And now with newfound depth stepping up in the form of Brandon Podziemski, Will Richard, and rookie Jaxson Lindenberg, the Warriors are hopeful that this season won't be a total dud.
Whether or not they can land another superstar moving forward is the big question, but then again, it's not something the Warriors need, especially after the blueprint to them winning their 2022 championship was depth around Steph Curry.
That is what the Warriors are looking for, and that will be the message heading into the trade deadline next February.
