I remember it was like two days after, and I was just randomly driving, and I was just like, " !"
Like, I just, like, randomly thought about it, and I was just thinking like, "Could be one-one right now," you know?
And, but you gotta let it go.
You know, you get the next chance, you get the next whatever, and hopefully you get that done, or it's a back check or whatever it is, and for, for you to help the team.
So you gotta let it go.
But it definitely, yeah, it bothered me quite a bit thinking like I had waited so long to get to the playoffs.
I wanted to have my moment where I could help the team, and I felt like that was it, and I, I let them down.
So it's frustrating but, you just, like I said, you just keep trying other ways.
You know, you look to next year already and, and, you gotta raise the bar again.
So that would be getting in again and, you know, making another run.
So, I feel like we're on the right path.
I feel like the, the players that are helping us coming in are, you know, really elevating our team and, and helping us.
So, yeah, I'm really excited to see what happens here moving forward.
You spoke a little bit after the, after the last game about how, you know, you want this to be a destination.
You want the players to come here.
I'm, I'm sure you have friends around the league.
I mean, is that something that you, you hear secondhand about this organization maybe becoming a place where guys wanna come and play?
Yeah.
Yeah, and I mean, you know, you see how passionate the fans are after we lose, and they're chanting in our building.
you know, I think it was really cool for another team to see, you know, even though they just swept us out of the playoffs, our fans are chanting us off the ice like that.
It was just a really cool moment and, yeah, I think, I think, guys are gonna start to realize this is a great spot to play, and hopefully we can get that back where people wanna sign here and be here.
And I know I do my part whenever teams practice, and I have a buddy, I'll, like, swoop him into the gym and be, "Hey, look how sweet this is," you know?
Like, "Come hang out here."
So, no, it's great.
I think what we did was great all, you know, for the players, the organization, everybody.
So, you know, we'll see.
