Right now, the Dodgers wouldn't have one of the two byes in the league, so you would force yourself to have to play in that wild card round again, which you don't wanna do, especially for a team that has played so much baseball over the last couple of seasons.
A, a team that has basically played a third of a season more than most teams, really.
When you look at how much baseball they have played, it's a lot.
And, even if you look at just the number of the games, 16, 17 postseason games, those games might as well count as two or three just because how intense they are, how much they take away from your off-season, where you have short off-seasons and, and things like that.
So it's definitely something that you wanna factor in, but the Dodgers have work to do.
