And early guess that lineup for the Yankees against Mike Perez, the righty.

Trent Grisham in center.

Catcher, whatever.

Yeah, that's the case.

Ben Rice and Goldy.

Bell in left.

Jones or Dominguez in right.

I think Jones is gonna get sent down even though he's been very good.

Caballero has to be at short.

McMahon- He's not going to be.

He might.

He might.

He's not going to be.

Where's he gonna play?

They're gonna rotate Caballero through McMahon, Volpe, and Jazz.

He can play a new position every night and give the infielders day off.

But they can do that on Friday.

Well, I don't care about one game.

I'm like- Right, but they should do that, and I think it would be a good This, this team used to do, we were impressed that they were making the right moves.

Caballero should go back to shortstop.

McMahon should be at third.

Jazz at second.

Probably Goldy at first.

Rice DH.

Bell in left.

Go back to playing defense.

They're not gonna do it.

I, I hope you're right.

That's what they- I think they will.

We've done- That's what they should do we've had a couple of these and that's They will start rotating them, but to get back on track they'll play their best team and then they'll sprint away from it.

They might do it once.

As long as Volpe's on the roster, he's the shortstop.

I don't know how you could not have made the move already.

So they're- Oh, I don't think they ever will.

Caballero can't be in the outfield.

So choose one of them.

When you're filling out your lineup, and this is where the Yankees have been backwards, is they've been looking for the spot to plug Caballero 'cause they felt like Volbe- Volpe is one of their best nine options on a given day.

Instead of saying, "Let's put our best defensive shortstop out there with Caballero."

And like when the team was kind of humming on defense and turning double plays and not throwing the ball away.

Caballero, yes, he has versatility.

As much as Volpe does, you just never fucking tried.

That's just the facts.

Volpe can hunt around a fly ball in the outfield like Caballero can.

Play the best shortstop.

It's Caballero.

Jazz Chisholm has played a career 192 games in the outfield.

Caballero, after today, it'll be his 63rd game.

It'll be his 37th start.

That was a weird thing that I stumbled into.

I'm like, Jazz has played much more outfield than Caballero.

And it's off the table- It's Jazz 'cause Jazz is a pretty good defensive second baseman and we've already seen them torment him with another infield position.

23 unearned runs in 12 games after doing 22 unearned runs in 74 games.

The Yanks in the final game versus Boston and the final game in Detroit, if they kind of just gloved the ball, you're probably talking about two wins and we're saying, "Oh my God, come back Trent.

Come back Judge."

They've just started in the wrong spot with Caballero as their bonus piece.

It isn't all on Volpe.

It's a significant part of the problem.

Well b- And the fact we don't feel confident saying that is because the Yankees get up and are, "Oh, you're doing the Volpe thing again?"

It's a thing
