It didn't seem like, especially the young guys, it didn't seem like there were any nerves.

Is that the, the sense you got as well?

There's definitely nerves.

to be honest, yeah.

But, you know, you gotta channel that in the right way.

It's, kinda what we've been working for.

You know, you'd much rather, obviously much rather be here than, than at home watching, so, it's fun.

It's a good, good position to be in, so you gotta take advantage of it when you can.

Yeah, you said the leaders stepped up a little bit to tell you what to expect in a game like today.

What, what Who was W- was there anybody in particular leading a message or how would you characterize them?

Well, I think it's just, you know, the guys that have been here.

not necessarily individuals speaking, just talking to the room when everyone's listening.

you know, just kinda saying what to expect.

You know, Coots, TK, Sanny, whoever, Seals, Garn.

You go down the list.

Right.

But, you know, just kinda stay even keel and, kind of just, like I said, what to expect and we, we, we belong to be here.

we've been a real good team leading up to this and, I think we can, make our mark here.

Even for the young guys, I mean, like, to play at this pace, the development of it's huge.

You know, for, you know, for them to get in this temperature and the way this playoffs is, y- you fast track the development because it's, it's, you know, it's pace out there, and those guys are, they're getting it.

So that's the one thing.

I'm happy to see the, our young guys playing in the, in this kinda pace.

I thought, I thought B- even Barks, I mean, the minutes he got, he I thought he played really well first night.

Barky, what the, the p- the It wasn't too big for him, the game, I thought.

I thought he played well.

Sean, you guys have a, a lot of young kids on the team, a lot of first timers in the playoffs, but it seemed like the, the environment wasn't too big.

Were you, were you pretty happy with how the young guys played?

Yeah, definitely.

everyone was ready.

Everyone, prepared themselves, for, for this moment.

but like I've said this morning, you know, we've been playing some big games for the last month, month and a half, meaningful games, must-win games.

And, you know, I think we're, we're up to the, to the, to the test.

And, yeah, I thought we, we did a good job preparing ourselves and, and being ready.
