For the holiday season, Nintendo is beefing up its titles for the Nintendo Switch 2 with more games, like "Mario Kart World," " Kirby Air Riders ," " Donkey Kong Bananza ," " Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment " and others. In addition, the gaming company just dropped a new title to play that revisits a fan-favorite franchise, "Metroid Prime."

Enter " Metroid Prime 4: Beyond " for Nintendo Switch 2, which is the first new "Metroid" game for a home console since 2021's "Metroid Dread" for the original Nintendo Switch and first new "Metroid Prime" game since "Metroid Prime 3: Corruption" for the Nintendo Wii in 2007.

It's an inventive first-person shooter that really takes advantage of the new Joy-Con 2 hardware, especially with the console's new mouse controls, with single-player mode throughout the game.
