How Is a Trivia Game Played?

Trivia has to be the easiest (and maybe the hardest at the same time) to play. You can play as individuals or as teams, and you are answering category-based questions. That's it!

You can decide whether the teams will blurt out the answers or if each will take turns. If one team answers a question incorrectly, then the other team could steal the point by getting it right. Each person or team with the most answers right is the winner of the game.

If you are playing in teams, you may want to nominate someone to be the quiz master or host. They will not be answering the questions, but instead be the one determining who answered the question correctly, first, and then awards that team a point.

Questions can be easy or hard, but the best ones are answerable . If they are too hard for the players, it takes the fun out of the game. If your questions can make a person say, "I should have known that," even if they didn't get the question right, then you have really great trivia questions!

You can play trivia as individuals, but teams are the most fun. Two to six players can make for a well-rounded game. If you are playing in teams, make sure you have enough people to play and have an individual be the designated host.

Trivia questions should be as difficult as you would like them. However, the best games are made up of well-rounded categories with general knowledge-based questions. Making trivia questions too hard will make the game boring and unappealing to the majority of players. How Many Questions Are Asked in a Round of Trivia?

After you have your teams in order, pre-determine how many rounds you would like to play. Then, have 7-10 prepared questions for each of those rounds.
