Arby's 'Finally' Brings Test Menu Item Nationwide: 'Can't Wait to Try'

Arby's is ready to shake up the industry with the nationwide launch of a previously elusive menu item.

The popular fast food chain, like many others, oftentimes tests out potential food and beverage additions or recipe changes in smaller markets before unleashing the items at restaurants nationwide in an effort to get consumer feedback and better gauge the public's response. It's a pretty effective strategy in that it allows Arby's to minimize waste and better serve consumers, it also builds hype around the ultra-exclusive releases so come time they do get an expanded release, fans are already racing to try 'em.

We've seen it with Taco Bell's Crispy Chicken Taco , McDonald's specialty drinks and now Arby's new Steak Nuggets .

Arby's Steak Nuggets Go Nationwide

The ol' test menu item initially debuted in several cities across the midwest and southeast with reviewers calling it "next-level comfort food" at the time. Now, five months later, Arby's customers across the country will finally be able to enjoy the new nugget.

Made with hand-cut, bite-sized morsels of seasoned steak, the nuggets promise to be "tender, juicy" and perfectly seasoned with a "bold" and "savory" flavor.

"Arby's is changing how you eat steak with our latest innovation: Steak Nuggets. Bite-sized, hand cut pieces of steak," Arby's chief marketing officer Jeff Bakerexplained in a statement with Parade . "Seared and smoked for a bold flavor that's convenient, and undeniably Arby's. It's steak on the go, and we're very proud to be the first to launch this type of product."

Arby's Steak Nuggets will be served as a standalone item served with Hickory BBQ sauce, as a Steak Nugget Bowl over Arby's Mac & Cheese or a sandwich piled with Steak Nuggets, Havarti cheese, and crispy onion strings.

"I don't care what anyone says I'm excited lol," one fan joked in response to the news.

A second admitted they have "been waiting for these."

"Finally! I can't wait to try these for sure," another rejoiced.

"Arby's is so underrated," one more declared.

Those looking to "finally" try the new item can mark their calendars for Monday, Oct. 6, when the Steak Nuggets officially arrive to menus at participating restaurant locations nationwide (prices may vary).
