From visiting a decked out bakery to a new axe-throwing bar, here are some of the things you can do in Massachusetts the weekend of Nov. 21-23.

'Wicked' experience bakery
At Pete's Sweets in East Longmeadow, visitors are in for quite a " Wickedly Good " experience.
To celebrate the release of "Wicked: For Good," the sequel to the 2024 film of "Wicked" that opens in theaters Friday, shop owner Peter Gray has transformed his bakery into a pink-and-green wonderland, with endless details and decorations from the world of "Wicked."
The bakery is decorated in equal parts green and pink to honor the film's two main characters, Elphaba and Glinda.
The set-up runs Nov. 19 to 22 and Nov. 24 to 26.

Visit the first Michelin star-rated restaurant in Boston
It's not every day you can eat at a Michelin star restaurant. Now, Boston has its very own.
311 Omakase , a 10-seat Japanese restaurant in Boston's South End, has become the first establishment in the city to earn a Michelin star.
Debuting in the summer of 2023, 311 Omakase symbolizes "the trinity of the chef, the ingredients and the customers," the restaurant's website states.
The eatery's menu comprises a $250 18-course omakase that is curated by Executive Chef Wei Fa Chen.
Even if you can't get a coveted seat this weekend, you can at least take a photo out front and say you've "been" to a Michelin star restaurant! Reservations, including on the waitlist, can be made here .

If you're looking for something more exhilarating, try axe-throwing.
Re:Bar has taken over the former space of Revolution Axe Throwing in Everett and officially opens on Thursday, Nov. 20 at 4 p.m.
The space is equipped with five dart boards where visitors can go head-to-head in several competitive and easy games. Plus, the six axe-throwing lanes allow guests to aim at zombies or sink battleships, among other interactive games. Visitors can also try a Nerf gun and shoot darts at ducks or other targets.
Axe and Nerf games begin at $29 per hour per person and darts begin at $10 per hour per person.

A new drink establishment has set up shop in West Springfield, the first in Massachusetts.
7 Brew offers more than 20,000 unique drink combinations including the original Blondie, a caramel and vanilla breve, to 7 Energy, smoothies, shakes and teas.
The official ribbon cutting took place on Wednesday. The business' next step is to host a "Swag Day" on Saturday, Nov. 22. Customers who purchase a large drink will get a free 7 Brew T-shirt.

See the Omni Parker House's $65-million renovation
The Omni Parker House recently received a $65 million renovation . But the carpets on the second-floor event spaces are what's drawing eyes.
The function halls feature writing decorating the carpet — actual handwriting that dates back to the 19th century from Charles Dickens.
Specifically, it's the final two pages of "A Christmas Carol" reproduced in the carpet. If you keep a lookout, you can spot the names "Scrooge" and "Bob."
The hotel's facelift covered all 551 rooms, function spaces, ballrooms and lobby.
